Join 2021 Virtual Open Day

13 January, 2021

CERGE-EI will host a Virtual Open Day on January 26. This is a great opportunity for prospective students to learn more about CERGE-EI, university life, our faculty, alumni, and students.

Last winter, due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the annual open day had to be shifted online. This year once again, prospective students can participate in live sessions and ask questions.

"I would like to ensure everybody that even though 2020 was a challenging year and many restrictions still remain in effect in the Czech Republic, CERGE-EI continues to operate: courses are run online, research is ongoing, and our think-tank IDEA produces a great many studies," said CERGE-EI Director Sergey Slobodyan.

"The constant flow of not very optimistic information about coronavirus may be discouraging and distracting at the moment but it is important to have in mind that time has not stopped. At CERGE-EI we run three excellent study programs, and we are looking forward to welcoming new bright students in each of these programs in Fall 2021," he added.

Should you have any questions related to studies at CERGE-EI, our Virtual Open Day is a great chance to have them answered.  The event will be commenced by CERGE-EI Director, Sergey Slobodyan, and Deputy Director of Graduate Studies, Alena Bičáková. CERGE-EI study officers will then introduce all three study programs, show you virtually around the building, and invite faculty members, students and alumni to join the conversation.

The Virtual Open Day takes place on 26 January 2021 at 10 a.m. via the online meeting platform Lifesize. If you would like to take part in the CERGE-EI Open Day, please fill out this registration form. To learn more about the program, visit the event section.
