Congratulations to PhD and MA in Economics Graduates

At CERGE-EI we award MA in Economics and PhD in Economics degrees twice per year, in May and November, when our CERGE-EI Board of Trustees meets. However, we celebrate the occasion once per year in May during Graduation Ceremony, which has been in the past four years also followed by the graduation Gala evening.

CERGE-EI Alumni Awards Announced at 25th Anniversary Gala

In the lead up to the 25th Anniversary celebrations, CERGE-EI called upon it’s community to identify alumni who have made a considerable social impact in their community. On Friday 27 May Jan Švejnar presented the Alumni Awards to Gurgen Aslanyan and Jindřich Gallo. Congratulations to our two exceptional graduates!

CERGE-EI Students Win 2016 Freshhh Competition

“Dirty Drilling” has been grinding hard to be announced the most Freshhh in 2016. Congratulations to Linda Do and Marek Rakowski, CERGE-EI Master’s in Applied Economics students, who were a part of the winning team “Dirty Drilling” in MOL’s Freshhh competition 2016.

Congratulations to Our “Data-Driven Changemakers” Fellows of 2016

Congratulations and a warm welcome to our three Data-Driven Changemakers Fellows: Masood, Leonard and Theo. These three exceptional students are the recipients of a fellowship to assist in the tuition fees for the MA in Applied Economics program at CERGE-EI. Masood, Leonard and Theo were chosen as the most outstanding for their zeal towards impact-driven social change and endeavors in using analytical skills to solve community problems.
