Outgoing Director Sergey Slobodyan sends valedictory letter to the CERGE-EI community.

Director Sergey Slobodyan has addressed the CERGE-EI community in connection with yesterday's tragic incident at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University.

A paper by Julie Chytilova and Michal Bauer of CERGE-EI and co-authors was accepted for publication in the prestigious Journal of the European Economic Association.

Czech Economic Society's Young Economist competition 2023 laureate is Theodor Kouro, a PhD in Economics student at CERGE-EI. He won the prize for the work "Let me Choose What I'm Best at: A Natural Field Experiment with Volunteers."

The 2023 Prize of the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, donated by the Peregrinus Foundation (Rudolf Meimberg) went to Filip Matějka, Associate Professor with Tenure at CERGE-EI.
