EEAG Report on the European Economy

The Presentation of the EEAG Report on the European Economy 2017 took place on 29 March, 2017, at CERGE-EI.

CERGE-EI cordially invites you to a special presentation of the EEAG (European Economic Advisory Group) Report on the European Economy. The 2017 edition was made public on 1 March, 2017, in Brussels, followed by presentations in selected European cities, including Prague.

This year’s Report on the European Economy includes discussion of macroeconomic conditions, the rise of populism, Brexit, and immigration. The presentation at CERGE-EI will focus on the following chapters: Economic Policy and the Rise of Populism, and Immigration and the Refugee Crisis.

The Report is provided by the EEAG European Economic Advisory Group at CESifo.

  • Branko Urošević (University of Belgrade) - “Immigration and the Refugee Crisis – Can Europe Rise to the Challenge?”
  • Mariola Pytliková (CERGE-EI) - “Reflection on the Immigration Issues”

The presentation will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday 29 March at the CERGE-EI building (Politickych veznu 7, Prague 1).
The working language for the entire event will be English.
