This practical series of workshops will help you become confident in planning and delivering presentations. We will specifically look at the areas where presenters often fail, e.g. timing, structure, flow and self-confidence. The focus will be on engaging the audience’s attention and at the end of the workshops every participant will have the opportunity to give a full presentation of their own, receiving constructive feedback to help them develop further.

Lectures:

  • Week 1: Structuring the presentation
  • Week 2: Creating a message that sticks
  • Week 3: Effective slide design
  • Week 4: Presenting data
  • Week 5: Make your delivery engaging
  • Week 6 and Week 7: Participants give their own presentation and receive feedback

Participants who attend at least 75% of the sessions can claim a Certificate of Attendance issued by CERGE-EI.
