Final Projects of the Master's in Applied Economics 2018 Cohort

Project Seminar is a core module of the one-year Master's in Applied Economics program at CERGE-EI. Over a period of three months, students work intensively for clients in the private, public or non-profit sectors, applying their analytical skills to develop informed recommendations for real-world strategic challenges.

Global Ranking Confirms Economics at Charles University in the Top 100

29 July, 2018

The recently published 2018 edition of the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (part of the prestigious Academic Ranking of World Universities) has confirmed Charles University's position among the top 100 universities in economics (and physics) again. The university therefore maintained its position from the previous year.

Deadline for Visiting Master Applicants

For several years now, CERGE-EI has invited Master's students to spend a year studying in the PhD in Economics program within the Visiting Master Scheme which it runs jointly with the Institute of Economic Studies (IES) of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.

The Preparatory Semester Has Started

19 July, 2018

On July 16, the Preparatory Semester of the PhD program started. Students from 19 countries were invited to spend 6 weeks at CERGE-EI to strengthen their knowledge of mathematics, macroeconomics, and microeconomics.
