Dirk Engelmann, Ph.D.
Dirk Engelmann graduated from the University of Göttingen in 1995 in Mathematics and received his Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Humboldt-University Berlin in 2000. In 2004 he defended his habilitation in economics, also at the Humboldt- University. During 1996-2001 he was Research and teaching Assistant at Humboldt-University Berlin. During 2003-2004 he was Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI. Since Fall 2004 he has been a Reader and since August 2006 is Professor of Economics at Royal Holloway, University of London and since July 2008 Director of the Experimental Economics Laboratory. Since 2007 he is Affiliate Researcher, Centre for Experimental Economics (CEE), University of Copenhagen. Since September 2008 he serves as an Associate Editor, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. From Fall 2008 he is back at CERGE-EI as a part-time senior researcher. Research Orientation: Experimental economics, game theory.
