Open access to European economics research and data

NEEO (Network of European Economists Online) is an EU-funded project which will address the lack of integration of academic output amongst premier European economics institutions by creating a powerful new research tool called Economists Online. Economists Online will provide access to the recent research results of 500 leading economists from at least sixteen prestigious academic institutions. It will include journal articles, working papers, book chapters, conference proceedings and primary datasets – all cross-searchable and accessible from a central multilingual portal.

The Library CERGE-EI is involved in the NEEO project, an initiative of the NEREUS consortium of academic libraries. The Library will invite economists to participate in the NEEO project by depositing their research papers and datasets in the UK CERGE institutional repository. Authors should be aware that the Library will be able to provide advice and assistance with copyright issues, following the FAQs-Copyright and Czech Copyright Act with the actual amendments.
